Sierra Sierra Megan MeganGale won a modeling competition in Perth aged 18 years old. After many years of modeling, Gale became famous as she was selected in 1999 to be a part of a set of ads for an Italian telecommunication company, Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) which she starred in commercials of the company from 1999 until. The company also hired her by the Australian Tourist Commission in 2003 to be their 'face of Australia to Italy'. Gale has graced the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has worked as a model in Italian fashion houses such as Gianfranco Ferre, Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway with Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. Gale has also been an avid supporter of Australian designers like Colette Dinnigan as well as Kirrily Johnsonston. The last time she walked the catwalk for the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney just a few days later. For her last look she donned Wonder Woman's attire from her Justice League of America movie but it was never made. In March 2011, Gale was back on the runway to close Alex Perry's 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival show. August of 2011 was Gale's 10th anniversary as a designer with department retailer David Jones, the longest -running fashion contract held in Australia. The same month, Gale was appointed ambassador for L'Oreal Paris, joining Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani. Gale appeared in ads for L'Oreal in Australia as well as New Zealand. She also made appearances in Italy.
